InterWorking Labs and Gambit Communications Sign Cross-Marketing Agreement To Provide SilverCreek® And MIMIC™ To Their New Customers

The agreement allows new customers to use SilverCreek or MIMIC for a limited period.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA - (May 1, 2001) - InterWorking Labs, Inc. (IWL), the leading developer of SNMP testing solutions, today announced a cross-marketing agreement with Gambit Communications, the leading provider of network management simulation tools. Under the terms of the agreement, IWL and Gambit Communications will provide new customers with a coupon redeemable for a limited time-out license of the complimentary company's software product.

For InterWorking Labs customers, a MIMIC coupon will be sent to those interested in obtaining an evaluation copy of the 100 agent license with a 90-day time out. MIMIC normally retails for $8995 without the time-out. Gambit Communications customers who indicated interest in the evaluation of SilverCreek, would receive a coupon good for a 30-day license of SilverCreek Standard Edition, which retails for $3995 without the timeout.

"The synergies of the MIMIC Simulator and SilverCreek products compliment each other very well," explained Pankaj Shah, Vice President of Marketing of Gambit Communications. "Therefore, it only seemed natural for Gambit and InterWorking Labs to team up to provide a total network management solution."

The promotion period is for an initial 90-day period with the possibility of being extended for an additional length of time.
